The Wisconsin Society of Plastic Surgeons held their 2024 Annual Conference at the Milwaukee Marriott West in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event began early Friday morning with a talk from the Keynote Speaker, Dr. Andre Cervantes, from Brazil. The day passed by quickly with expert talks from Dr. Cervantes, Dr. Michele Manahan from John Hopkins, and panel discussions with WSPS board members. The Annual Business Meeting took place directly following lunch and elaborated on WSPS's accomplishments throughout the year, plans for the upcoming year, and the annual elections. All current board members moved up a position with Dr. Ahmed Afifi moving into the Immediate past President role. The final conference session was the Resident Research Competition judged by visiting speakers Dr. Cervantes and Manahan with Dr. Tara Mather taking home first place. As always, we were grateful for all of our attendees, speakers, and sponsors who were able to attend! We had record attendance for a WSPS conference and cannot wait to grow again next year.
