The Wisconsin Society of Plastic Surgeons hosted its 2025 Annual Conference at the Brookfield Conference Center in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

The event kicked off early Friday morning with an engaging session from one of the featured speakers, Dr. Brian Thornton of Louisville, Kentucky. The day moved swiftly with a lineup of insightful presentations, including expert talks by Dr. Thornton, Dr. Johnny Franco of Austin Plastic Surgeons, and several sponsored sessions.

Following lunch, members gathered for the Annual Business Meeting, which highlighted WSPS’s achievements over the past year, outlined goals for the year ahead, and finalized two changes to the Society’s bylaws. The changes allow for an additional Director-at-Large and for a non-voting Resident Board Member to be added to the board.

One of the day’s highlights was the Resident Research Competition, judged by visiting experts Drs. Franco and Thornton. Congratulations to our winners: Dr. Bacos (1st place), Dr. Conway (2nd), and Dr. Mather (3rd)!

Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in the exhibitor passport drawing by engaging with each exhibitor—congratulations to Dr. Edalatpour, who won the $200 Amazon gift card!
